We started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all other. We designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with our asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. Multi-soundhole technology made affordable. Using the same unique Ovation Quintad bracing pattern featured on the more expensive Elite models, here's an entry-level acoustic/electric that will continue to earn its keep as your playing skills mature. The CC44 Celebrity Deluxe features a mid-depth cutaway body shape using modified quintad bracing with a laminated spruce top. Features a white bound 25 1/4" scale rosewood fretboard with abalone dot inlays. Other features include a walnut bridge, 1 11/16" nut width, gold tuning machines and the OP4BT preamp. The OP4BT preamp offers +/-12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. It's on-board tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings.
