When Jim Adkins, guitarist and frontman for platinum-selling Jimmy Eat World, cheerfully challenged Fender with designing his perfect guitar, a collaboration began that resulted in the new JA-90. We sat down with Adkins and went over his old Fender TC-90 spec by spec, making some important changes that subsequently produced this unique new model. Features include a mahogany neck set into a semi-hollow ash body, Seymour Duncan soapbar pickups, independent volume and tone controls, an Adjusto-Matic bridge and anchored tailpiece. The Oscar Schmidt OG10CE is a great choice for either kids or adults with a smaller frame. The concert sized guitar, while quieter than the dreadnought, is a much more comfortable guitar to play. The volume lost in the lack of size is more than made up for with the built in WT72 preamp and tuner, which allows you to amplify this parlor steel when the natural acoustic don't meet the size of the room.

Not only does the OG10CE boast a comfortable size and great electronics, but it is constructed with a superior wood selection. The OG10CE body features a select spruce top with catalpa back and sides for a bright acoustic resonance, and the extremely durable neck is solid mahogany with a rosewood fretboard and bridge. The neck is also built with a fully adjustable truss rod. The body is colored with a fun and flashy flamed transparent purple finish, protected by a thick gloss.
