While beauty was the inspiration of the Dean Edge, we put every bit of our 20 plus years of design experience into these models. We started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all other. We designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with our asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. Using the same unique Ovation Quintad bracing pattern featured on the more expensive Elite models, here's an entry-level acoustic/electric that will continue to earn its keep as your playing skills mature. The CC44 Celebrity Deluxe features a mid-depth cutaway body shape using modified quintad bracing with a laminated spruce top. Features a white bound 25 1/4" scale rosewood fretboard with abalone dot inlays. Other features include a walnut bridge, 1 11/16" nut width, gold tuning machines and the OP4BT preamp. The OP4BT preamp offers +/-12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. It's on-board tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings.
